hey guys... as you may have guessed ... we're shooting some ego 7's down here now...

Just wondering a couple of things...

I know different settings will suit different pple and markers, but a couple of pointers would be good...

ie...

Dwell.... where about is ... about right... 10 to 15, 13 to 17, or 15 to 20.....
mine came at 16... but was wondering which end of the scale this is.

Inline reg. .... dont have a guage, so not sure where to set it.

LPR.... apparently a turn or so in from flush is pretty usual.

and in which order should i set these....

read somewhere... that I should keep upping the dwell until the FPS stops increasing.... then adjust the Inline reg (to 290 or what ever)

anyway... any pointers would be appreciated.

Nice :)

All Egos are tested before leaving the factory so while each marker will not be setup optimally (or even stock) they will shoot.

16 is on the high side. Most I've seen are around 10-11 dwell.

Inline reg. .... dont have a guage, so not sure where to set it.
Personally, who cares. Turn it until you reach your desired velocity :)

LPR.... apparently a turn or so in from flush is pretty usual.
Flush or slightly in is good.

and in which order should i set these....
I'd set dwell, LPR then reg.

read somewhere... that I should keep upping the dwell until the FPS stops increasing.... then adjust the Inline reg (to 290 or what ever)
I don't follow this thought. There's other settings that will be more beneficial than trying to muck around with efficiency, etc.

anyway... any pointers would be appreciated.
Add air and paint and away you go

Thi isnt a matter of efficiency, this is how you get it to shoot as soft as possible on the paint, with the lowest possible input pressure (inline) (its actually moving away from efficiency, being less efficient but better for fragile paint)

stock dwell on 07's is 16. I wouldnt go as low as 10 but you can lower it if you like.
