Just a comment. Something I wasn't a fan of on NZPB (Sorry to flog a dead horse) was the requirement to put a price when selling something (Do we have that requirement here?). There may have been some logic to this which I was not aware of. As for here, I think auction type sales, like the one above are sweet as. But that's just me...

I think Chinese Auctions are better.... they do them at the Fish Markets in Sydney!

you start at a price that is too high... and start counting down say $10.00 a day... When someone is satisfied they buy it... If no one wants it before it mets a reserve price at least you know!

Often people get an ichy trigger finger and the seller gets a better price, But if your too slow you miss out...

Originally it was to stop pages of shite ... but since we're "growing" maybe we could relax it. The only thing is places like TardMe are set up for Auctions and we're not ... no feedback, no come back, etc.
