need to gather numbers for teams definately attending Easter this year. 9 weeks away.

Please post if you are the captain of your team and know for sure your team is attending or you are in a team and are allowed to post on your teams behalf.

SOOOOOOOOOOO, 2 weeks to go, all is ready, crossing the T's and dotting the I's at the mo,

Setup will be similar to last year with the exception of there will be no large marquee, rather the smaller team tents seen at the Nelson and Christchurch events last year,

Also hope to better rope and screen off the chrono area, to provide better outdoor-outdoor flow,

Again as with previous years, teams need to limit the number of vehicles driving to the venue, with as many as possible parking in the main carpark by the gate in, those hacking up the grass will be sent the bill from the council for grass repair.

Field will be oriented same as 2k6, i.e no head on sunstrike in the avo for one team,

Reff crew consists of the same reffs (x10)from last years Easter and Christchurch main field which as we all know brings consistancy to the reffing side of things, headed by Terry the head refferee.

with the current 13 teams entered, and not the 16 we all would have liked, would players be keen to have a couple of unreffed pump games at lunchtime on the Saturday? planning on an hour for lunch, maybe 3 man or 5 man pump games may go down well?

as well if anyone knows of any teams out there that were thinking of attending but havnt actually done anythign about it, please inform them to get in touch with me ASAP, or forever hold their peace.


EFTPOS will be available to pay for paint etc.

team tents are supplied, please feel free to bring your own too if you want, also 1 trestle table per tent will be supplied,

also no panic on the paint, as there will be enough Elixer for everyone, with another quantity of killer bees or similar, as extra, for those that prefer not so brittle paint.

Well another Easter over with.

Thanks from myself and Di go to the reffs, this was definately the best reffed tournament i have seen , ever.
Thanks to the setup/cleanup crew.Without you doing your part, this event simply would not happen, and i mean that.Was so good for me to be able to sort the smaller details on Friday, and to not have to be there cleaning in the dark on Sunday night.

Thanks to Biohazard for looking after the venue at night and helping out where needed WITHOUT being asked!

Thanks to Gav for bringing down the Air compressor, without which the event is not possible.

Thanks to Mark from Nelson(Outlaws) for bringing up the team tents reff tops and mini Xs.

Thanks to our main sponsor Actions Paintball in Aucktown for supplying the paint and airball field.

Thanks to Legion for the field design and setup.

Thanks to the teams for the effort it takes to sort a team , whip them into shape and actually get to the event, and also thanks for all getting along so well and promoting the sport in the light that it deserves.As well let me also thank those teams at the event that helped out the newer teams with advice, gear, and encouragement, it is great to see and hear we are looking after the new guys :)

That was a well set up and well executed event. BioHazard had an awesome time there and thanks goes out to all who were an encouragement to us, you know who you are.

Personally, I think this was the best tournie I have attended in New Zealand.
