Adrenaline Cup at Waikanae

What an awesome day yesterday at the Waikanae field day.

After several months of competition and lead up at Kapiti we (BioHazard) entered the Adrenaline Cup Finals with determination knowing we had something to prove. Never having beaten the 1st seeded Dirty Halos before we knew we had to be at the top of our game and we came together as a united team and gelled really well.

Our games went to plan on a very defensive field and as a result we managed to take 1st place and bring home the cup.

I can't speak highly enough of the efforts of my team in spite of a couple of hardware problems. Thanks to those for the marker loans.

Well, you may have guessed that we're pretty stoked but that's because as a relatively new team it's the first PB bling we've managed to get our hands on and we put a lot of effort into it.

Comps to Dirty Halos, Wild Bunch, and Devils Rejects for making us work for it. :respect:

Looks like an awesome tournament you guys have got setup there.

Hmm... no definitely not me, I wouldn't ever run n gun like that! :p (no offense MartyB). Running left it's best to shoot left handed so you can walk the trigger, move faster and have some control. I trust the ego was purring anyways :)

funniest moment of the day:
basically this set up*
Player comes in from the left into the laydown, and pops up to shoot at the guy in red.
Guy in red has spun as the run occurs and been putting paint, really fast, over the laydown.

now the crowd is basically straight behind the camera (netting).
There was an appreachable "WOOOW" at the speed of the move and the paint volume.

I have real sunburnt hands.
