PSP Texas is starting today with the revamped and extended NXL division ... :twisted:

NXL scores are below (as they become available) .... so who is going to win?

The coldest PSP event in the history of paintball quietly came to a close tonight. Few crouds turned out in the freezing weather, and most of the people in the giant grandstands the PSP had setup for it's first event of the season were players.

It's certainly a new world in the NXL. Dynasty was knocked out of the Quarter finals early on by the Americans, who have been playing better than ever. XSV made it to the semi finals, but was dismissed by Trauma, who took down the Red Legion earlier in the day.

In the end, the NXL finals came down to Trauma and the Americans for the 40 grand. And XSV and the Red Legion battling for 3rd. XSV was fired up before the game, but when they stepped on the field, they played like their hearts just weren't in it, which was more than enough opportunity for the Russians to take the lead and win.

The Americans v. Trauma match was much more exciting. The game was pretty evenly matched, but end the end it came down to Philly, who was up by just 1 point, and were able to burn down the clock and win the match 6 to 5.
