um...

I've been to the last 3 of these monthly games st AE and there most definitely is NOT 30-40 members... out of all the days i have been there has been no more than 7-8 players... last time there were 6 of us.

No matter, sounds awesome, I'm in Snells Beach so please post on here what's going on. I may be able to bring some people, though I'll be needing to hire gear since I've sold everything.

there have only been 2 club days so far, and yes attending numbers on OGD have been low...not the number of members. Give the guy a break, he is new to paintball, is trying his best, is competing with crap weather both weekends, and comments like that are exactly what the club doesnt need to get itself off the ground. We think he has done very well so far, considering he has started with no player base, or funding (hence why we let them use the our field for free and only charge cost prices). Ben is taking time out of his personal time to ring around and chase up his own friends, numbers we have steadily been handing onto him and inquiries thru his website. Also between him and us, we have been able to organize for members to go and have OGDs at other fields around Northland, at similar club day prices. On top of this, him and other club members have also managed to put a Northland tournament, and organizing buses to out of town tournaments, into the pipeline. This is one of the only clubs i have heard of who are not just one single "fields" club, they are a group of people who love paintball, but not the crap that can come with it.They are the Northland Paintball Club, meaning they are based in Northland, and play at all participating Northland fields.I think what he has achieved so far is no mean feat and instead of being ragged on, should be commended. Attending numbers will build, but only with the help of positive attitudes.

hey wonder, hows it going on finding some electro hoppers?

wonder

its not so much finding them its waiting for a good deal to come up
and is also something that is a want rather than a need so like the new compressor it has to wait untill the funding is available or a deal too good to pass up comes along like the electro marker one.
and with the new road, power, luge and rifle range totaling around 35-55g worth, to be done before school electives in September and 2 new fields to be done by xmas, i think the hoppers, compressor and ram guns may end up waiting until next year

well for rental guns to have electro hoppers would be a first for whangarei.
