Hawke’s Bays only Forest based Paintball Fields

Pukeora Paintball is widely recognised as one of the North Island's premiere bush based paintball venues, and is situated within 120 acres of Forest with 9 playing fields that require different strategies to outplay opposing teams and a comfortable staging area where you can swap stories.

PLAYING FIELDS - At Pukeora Paintball we have 120 acres of natural bushland. Our WWI fields are are equipped with trenches, bunkers, bridges and and obstacles which are scattered throughout natural creek gullies and swamps within the forest, allowing for maximum strategic assaults and skills training, not to mention a good place to hide when the game gets to tough!

ANZAC's Vs Turkish - We play a number of game scenarios here often using ANZAC’s and Turkish as our teams to replicate the famous battles of 1915 in respect of their bravery, such as ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine, Shrapnel Valley, Chunuk Bair, The Apex, Snipers Nest and No Man’s Land. This diversity of
fields enable great variation in the day's play.

LOCATION – Pukeora Paintball is located on the Corner Pukeora Scenic Drive and State Highway 2, 4.5 Km South of Waipukurau, Central Hawke’s Bay. Our superb forested estate is within 35 minutes of Hastings and an hour's drive of Napier making us one of Hawke’s Bay’s most convenient fields.

For additional info, please email simon@pukeora-paintball.com or phone 06 858 5121 and I will be happy to assist you!

I look forward to seeing you playing at Pukeora Paintball soon!

Just saw this old thread and thought I’d wade in and rebut your comments.

You know its erroneous comments like this that bring paintball into disrepute!

Firstly, let me clarify upfront, I am by no stretch of the imagination a speedball expert. I do thoroughly enjoy it, and will be the first to recommend it to anybody, in fact I refer players to your field on a regular basis, so when reading, please keep in mind that my opinions are based on what we do and offer.

With respect the definition Bush is “A place abounding in trees or shrubs; a forest”.

Whilst you operate a Speedball field and we clearly and quiet openly operate a dedicated bush based recreational Paintball field (9 in fact) set within 120 acres of natural Forest equipped with trenches, bunkers, bridges and and obstacles which are scattered throughout natural creek gullies and a swamp ~ Not in a paddock, nor in a building, as honestly stated a natural bushland paintball venue in a fun OUTDOOR environment and our traffic stats show that it is a favourite.

We don’t purport to offer tourneys, we offer quality recball, if you want a strong tournament scene, expect to play it in a venue such as “Paintball Hawke’s Bay”.

May I take this moment to remind you that Hawke’s Bay does have two excellent Speedball venues (Paintball Hawke’s Bay & Ground Zero Paintball) and one brilliant Forest based Paintball venue “Pukeora Paintball”, listed in the Hawke’s Bay area.

For bush based recreational Paintball we highly recommend “Pukeora Paintball” situated on State Highway 2, South of Waipukurau, We are also the home field for Air soft Hawke’s Bay and the local RAM’s Milsim crew.

“Paintball Hawke’s Bay” is a great speedball venue located next to Bridge Pa Aerodrome, 75/77 Ngatarawa Road, Bridge Pa, Hastings and offer great paintball along with tourneys, and this is also the home field for the Hawke’s Bay Paintball Club. Paintball Hawke’s Bay has been around forever, and Les is a paintball institution.

Then there’s “Ground Zero Paintball” another great speedball venue. They are situated 75 Elwood Road, Hastings and they offer offer great paintballing as well.

However, whilst there is a slight differences between Speedball and a bush based recreational Paintball venue with respect to the two disciplines, these THREE paintball fields presents us with an opportunity to develop the sport of paintball, promote the sport professionally and increase participation across the region, be it Competitive paintball, Speed Ball, RecBall, Bushball, Milsim and Airsoft!

Basically the point I'm trying to make is that the recpaintball scene is as important as the competition scene. Without a healthy and dynamic recpaintball scene generating lots of keen new players there will be no tournament scene!

Good to see your website had some truth editing ...just like the truth you have stated here. Well done and I mean that with respect, not sarcastically.:)

Ground Zero are capitalizing on using one of our old sites...the one we used before we were able to lease our current one...that too was well done(sarcasm) and they are actually the old Paintball Arena

Hey all - I've deleted one post from this thread - so if it seems disjointed please feel free to blame me ... the post was slightly out of what we have in our TOU, and wasn't adding to the overall discussion.

Any problems feel free to PM or email me directly.

Cheers
