Xball back at Actions in August!

Since it was such a blast last time we ran it, Actions and Insane will be bringing Xball back to Swanson in August.
Format:
5 on 5 ctr flag with unlimited paint. Teams of up to 8 battle it out in a race to 5 points over one 15 min game period. Sides will switch ends after the 3rd point is scored. Game ends when the clock runs out or a team reaches 5 points. Random draw to start off the day and then Swiss Chess after that. Expect to play 2 rounds maybe more.
Field:
Field will be Supair and set up by Insane. As a hint to everyone I've picked up the SPWCS 06 on DVD. :D you can check it out on YouTube.
Cost:
Cost is $100.00 that covers the cost of fee and a case of paint. Co2 on site and air is BYO. However should that be unavaliable, there is the chance we can get the Nitro plant back down for the day.
But for this event guys I need to know how many are turning up and who needs nitro becasue it would suck getting it down only for no one to need it. The Nitro levi is like $10 so big deal. This is everyones chance to play some fast paced games of Xball.

Kyn want's a 3 on 3 tourni next OGD. And he's the boss and team sponsor :) What the boss wants the boss gets. I'm just an evil minion. I'll check the dates an fingers crossed they don't clash.

Yeah man should be a good start to August. Hamilton 3's and then Xball. Thoes are the formats that Insane lives for so I'm not about to screw you over Sketch.

Development:

Ok guys someone is gona have to teach me to web post pics :) I'm going to be picking up a copy of field builder so to better tempt you with my mad field layouts. So keep checking back on this thread for the future layout of the field. i know i said that it was going to be inspired from the SPWCS but I've had some ppl begging for the return of my nerfed carwash snake, and Gareth wants a kinked snake. So who knows... :)

I've still got to get the OK from Kyn but the crew is happy to brake the field out a day to a week early for set up. It will only be setup for the one day and will be packed down around no latter then 2pm.

That way we get to mark the ground out keep both sides even, check for leaks and possibly open it up to any of you keen mad ballers to get a bit of practice in. This means you could get a chance once a moth to practice on supair. It also allows us an idea of turn out come the big day...kinda like the muster the Boss and I ran last year. You must bring your own Air, Co2 can be provided so long as you bring the cash as always Field Paint Only and speeds to be keept down to 300 or less FPS.

So if you want a bit of practice, time to study up on the OGD field before the day or are a bush baller wanting to know what so fun playing with blow up dolls :) here is your chance to try it out.

Now I'll post this under it's own thread later but give me your input guys. Yay or nay.
