The 'non-tourney' forum

So since it's been requested - here it is. A forum for all the regular ballers out there who don't play tourney.

But the question is - what should we call this forum? I've listed a couple below to get the ball rolling, but if you've got an idea then post away.

The poll is public (so you can see who voted for what) and closes in 7 days.

'Bushball' has too many negative conotations for me.

'Scenario' is even worse... Much as i enjoy the odd p.ball mission type thing.

Recball sounds pretty 'uncommitted'.. and i'm sure we love the ball as much as the tourney guys.

Reason for voting other.....

I don't like the 3 suggested ideas. I think Non Tourney is probably better imho.

For that matter it could be called "free Sex" but then we'd get the torney lurkers like B2 hanging around. :)

I think that Non-tourney covers all the bases. States what it is to those who don't like the tournament scene.

i agree wit non-tourney but voted rec-ball as its sort of, well, recreational paintball, no committments or anythin, u play wen u want.

Non tourney - because Scenario, Bushball and recball are all seen as different. When people say scenario or urban I think RATC like the training centre in Nelson - cs styles

why not have two sub-sections:
Scenario, for big games and dedicated scenario play and topics (e.g. milisiming markers, packs etc)
Casual, for notices about casual days, new payer questions that type of thing.

I agree with most above, especially Crash. NT covers everything else we do which leads me to...

I'd like to welcome and invite local HB players, and indeed anyone who wishes, who are interested to join the relatively newly formed Hawkes Bay Paintball Players Club. We play 3 formats, speedball with both pumps and semi, and bushball. Speedball is usually limited paint and based on XBall variant rules. We have a can field (soon to be upgraded) and a bush field.

We take our fun as seriously as a sports team, but our main aim is to make the game fun like it used to be...in the old days. This doesn't mean we all use VM68's though...

We are small right now, but we get out most weekends.
