Hi there guys got an update for you.
Kyn and team Kiwi are going away for a few weeks so the Boss asked if I could run OGD.
So you know what that means :D
X-ball!!!
Paint and Air:
As always field paint only and all teams are encouraged to bring there own air. If I get enough registered intrest on this post I'll see about getting the Nitro plant down. Teams wishing to use it will have to front up with an extra $10 per player while Co2 is avaliable on site.
Format:
D1 and D2.
X-ball played 5 on 5 with ctr flag. A team socres 1 point for each clean hang of the flag on the opposing teams dead box. Teams will play 1 period of 15 minuets stop time in a race to 5 points. The winning team will be the one with the most points at the end of regulation time or the first to reach 5 points. Both teams switch sides after the 3rd point (overall) is scored. There will be a brake of no less then 2 minuets between points to allow another pair of teams to play a point and to allow the previous teams to prepair for another point. Xball will be unlimited paint per point.
D3.
As above with the following changes. Games will be played 3 on 3 with a race to 3 points with no time limit and no swapig sides.
Time table:
All divisions:
Aiming to play 2 games on the day, untill the paint runs out or 3 pm which ever comes first. The way the field is set up we can support 2 games (4 teams) running on the one field at a time. After the completion of 2 rounds should we have enough time all players can use the field to play games, run drills ect until 3pm.
Teams:
Teams in both D1 and D2 grades can have up to 8 plaers on a team this does not include pit crew, coaches ect... Rokkie teams can be made up of up to 4 players
There will be no side line coaching.
The Draw
The first round will be out of a hat for both D1 and D2 further rounds will be by swiss cheese format where winning teams will pair off. D3 teams will play each other in much the same way just have to see how many turn up. This way all teams should have 1 game against a very simillar skilled opponent and make for some close and exciting games which face it is FUN!
Field set up:
Field will be set up by Insane on the day starting from 8am and packing down no later then 3pm. If I scrounge the pennies I should be able to throw the layout up on this board. There is the chance that the field could be set up on the Saturday or Sunday of the weekend before. I'll keep you posted on this one.
Any Healp:
If you don't have a team but want to play some ball, interested in what it's about or just don't have the time or dosh to play. Come on down and reff, coach, pitt or join one of the teams.
D1 and D2:
No one likes getting stomped so I'm going to try to keep the divisions fairly even skill wise as much as I can but thats only going to happen if you guys show up. So for anyone with reservations your going to get in a lot of games reguardless of turn out and still have a Sunday.
D3:
There will be a division for anyone new to trouni paintball so that includes the bush ballers looking for something different. I'm not going to call it Rokkie or "noob division" :D but if you want a chance to play something like CQB or just wonder why the fluro ballers like playing with blow up dolls here is your chance to find out.
