We had an awesome day today with Wanganui ballers combining with the Naki guys and facing members of the local Police and AOS (with a few other Wanganui players to even up the sides).
Ton o' fun.
There were 40 of us all up with ages ranging from about 13 up to (ahem) 48.
Not me cos I'm not 48 yet. ;)
Before we went out, I was a little concerned that we might be outmatched by their tactical training, but as was pointed out to me, you can't compare PB with tactical AOS training. They're poles apart and it really came down to ballers vs ballers.
There were a few pockets of serious mayhem as guys struggled to adequately identify their own guys and subsequently made them walk. Blue tape on the arm isn't really that clear, lol.
I was totally impressed with the great attitudes out there today and the friendship & generosity as we met new guys and plan to have many repeats in the future.
Big thanks to the Naki crew for making that trip to Wangas (again) and helping to make it the day that it was.
