At olympic level there'd be enough cameras around and video refs and stuff to get rid of most wiping. That's probably the only way to like... wipe out... cheating. Video refs and one camera per player. 10 cameras on field would be crazy, but it would work.

Either that or just play laser tag at the olympics :p

Plus how many of the pro players would pass the drugs tests

I do think with the previlance of video of play the major leagues (heck any league where there are videos) should have a 'post game discovery of blatant cheating' ban (needs a snappier name and I doubt the 'you fucking cheater and got videoed doing it' ban would hold) basically if you are caught on tape blantantly cheating and did not get pulled from it (e.g. angles and demons preview's mask hit guy) you get a 6 month ban from the league, no challange, no appeal just plan BANNED.

this would hit the 'pro' teams hardest* as they have the most video time, yet as it is a small group it would become cleanish faster

* on the logic, if there is 'p' propotion of players cheating then the chance of getting caught is p*time, so if time increases so to does the chance of getting caught

Okay, so basically that'll stop the only non harmful way of cheating so gun cheats will be more important to the advantage gaining process.

I'd rather play someone with gun cheats than someone who wipes. At least that way I can hit the lamer.

I think those two issues would really need to be dealt with before paintball could become olympic. An easier way to deal with gun cheats would be to provide the guns at the event, like how the A1 drivers all have the same cars, olympic shooters all use the same guns, world record hotdog eaters eat the supplied hotdogs, etc. It'd hurt and people would complain but it would probably be neccessary. If they love the sport that much and weren't cheaters they could get over it.

Anyways we've already had this discussion. Back to the cartoon, I don't get that bit about the trebuchet, what's that about?
