paintball tanks

hey guys i am looking to get into paintball and am looking to get my gear in from the states is there a maximum tank size i can import in or any tanks that are illegal?

Hi - welcome to the boards man.

There are a whole bunch of legal problems with bottles, and only a few that are legal in New Zealand for use. We've got an article on it which you can find here: http://www.paintball.net.nz/showthread.php?t=1558

Short story - be VERY careful what you buy. I'd honestly suggest that you use a NZ based supplier - there are a few - to make sure you get a bottle which has all of the information you need on it AND that is approved for use in NZ.
