We are driving down from Aucks on either Thursday or Friday (to be discussed tomorrow), I will have space for one more person in the car going down - though I would prefer this to be someone who is reffing as well.

I think we have somewhere to stay already, but if anyone would be prepared to volunteer their younger sisters for warmth it would be much appreciated.

Anyone who is keen on coming down with us to help out should come to Actions Paintball tomorrow (Sunday 12 March) to discuss.

If possible I'd like to get all the refs together somewhere nice and warm and dry where we can go over the rules together with you all in detail over a beer and pizza to make sure everyone is on the same page. I don't want a situation where the refs don't know the rules or get confused.

If possible I'd like to have Jono over as well to help with this (if you are available jono).

We will be happy to go over in detail:

- Millenium Rules ('05 as '06 have not been released yet)
- Changes from previous versions (esp scoring system)
- Tricky things
- Hand signals
- Cheating, common ways and what to look for when reffing
- Penalties

Among other things...

Can we have a list of who is availble to ref wellers along with events reffed in this thread?

1. Me (Roto 03, Roto 04, Super 3s, Super 5s, Northland Open 05, Northland Open 06, Nations Cup Malaysia, numerous other events)
2. Jason Cleeton (Actions Paintball Ref 3 Years)
3. Travis Cleeton (Actions Paintball Ref 3 Years)

We need a minimum of 8 Refs on the field, + 1 or 2 on the field, plus a couple of dogs bodies to do general chores.

Equipment needed for refs:

- Clipboards
- Photocopies of the rules
- Rakes
- Squeegees, bucket and rags to wipe down barricades
- 2 handheld chronos
- spare batteries
- 1 big red chrono
- Towells/Ref Shields
- Jerseys
- Tent/Shelter for refs, we will be in the elements for 2 days would be nice to have some cover/gogs off area to clean up
- chairs

Yo If Im still in the country I'd be happy to help.

You need 8 refs and 1 Head ref on the field at all times. Then People to do jobs like chrono and score keeping. (chrono is one of the more important jobs in my eyes as that person will be checking for bouncing, ramping and hot markers)
