Seriously... I am a man of little time and even littler patience...
So what air systems ARE legal in NZ?
(Moving to Auckland/Hamilton in FEB 2010 with my Kiwi wife... yes, as you've guessed, I am an American.)
Thanks in advance, friends.

You can have any tank reg that you want, but the bottle has to be a Luxfer. There might be other legal tanks but this is the only one I'm sure about.
J.
LAB 2046 Luxfer 1.10l (68cui) 4,500psi HPA
LAB 2089 SCI 1.47l (91cui) 4,500psi HPA
LAB 2090 SCI 1.1l(68cui) 4,500psi HPA
LAB 2209 Shanghai 0.7l (45cui) 3,000psi HPA
LAB 2190 Catalina 0.73l (47cui) 3,000psi HPA
That's up to date afaik. Those are the only legal paintball HPA tanks. Any paintball online store in NZ that sells HPA will sell legal ones. The 4500 68ci luxfer is easily the most common and easiest to get hold of. You can use anything under 500mls or 30.5ci without having to worry about legal stuff. Prices are about $350-$450 NZD for a legal 68ci with reg. If you don't buy one here you'll need to get it lab numbered and tested (not sure if you need both...) when you get here which is an extra cost.
Tank Test Labs in Manukau will lab sticker tanks if they're in hydro (required 3 yearly in NZ) and are on the list.
I got LAB sticker's & hydro's on three SCI 92/4500 for $45 each

No big deal most fields will let you fill a good tank. Undo the H.P.burst disc before you put it on a plane! If your marker isn't a pump you might have to prove it is semi automatic only.
