well as far as i know there are 3 main shops, sckpaintball.com kiwipaintball.co.nz paintballshop.co.nz, have only had experience from ordering from kiwi paintball so cant speak for the rest but if you need something you can ring kiwipaintball and ask for them to order it in if they dont have it, also regarding the tank thread you posted, if youre gonna bring a tank over remove the whole regulator, not just the H.P. burst disk

In terms of prices most places are pretty similar, there's no one online store that has better prices overall. That said, Guncity.co.nz is worth staying away from.

The main deciding factor for me is how good their service is and how good they are at responding to emails. None of them seem that good (though I haven't tried sck) so you really just have to take your chances.

Yeah... I looked at all of them and was REALLY disappointed. Is shipping from an Australian website to NZ expensive? Any experience?

Remember that the NZ stores have no reason to keep much stock - in the entire country there are maybe 150 regular speedball players so it's really not enough to justify it. Even regular woodsballers aren't that well represented. If you want stuff that's not in stock it's best to either get them to order things in for you, which they'll almost always be happy to do, or order yourself from overseas. When ordering markers or air tanks it's normally best to go through a proper dealer simply because they can deal with all the crazy customs stuff that might catch you out otherwise, but for everything else I always used to order stuff directly from www.compulsivepaintball.com in the US so long as each order came to less than $450NZ or I'd end up paying 12.5%GST and possibly more depending on how customs were feeling on the day. Of course stuff works out pricey by the time the exchange rate and shipping have had their way with it.

So far, I think that www.kiwipaintball.co.nz has the biggest selection. In terms of prices, I don't have anything to compare them to. But sometimes the convenience of a bigger inventory supersedes the need for the best deal.

What's the deal with www.sckpaintball.com? Anybody know? The site is a pain to navigate and their stock is crazy small. Is it new?

bcos of such a small population, and way small player base, any "stores" in nz actually carry very little if any stock, "in stock", just dosnt make business sense, a lot of people do get stuff in from australia, their stores usually carry a lot of gear in comparison, and freight is minimal, and can sometimes be on your doorstep here in nz 2 to 3 days later,,,

I have also found that most NZ 'list prices' are anything but.
I would just phone the store and outline what you want and ask for a quote to be mailed to you.
I remember back when I restarted I got a gun, colour kit, hopper, and tank for about 85% of what was listed on the web page.

A tip if you do buy from Oz sites like paintballshop.com. When you order remind them to remove the 10% Oz GST as it is an export and you dont have to pay there GST. Most of the stuff you see listed on there site is GST inclusive.

Try www.paintballdirectnz.co.nz (http://www.paintballdirectnz.co.nz)... I know they have a great stock of Planet Eclipse gear, including Ego10's, Etek3, and Geo10's, pants, jerseys, pads, bags, etc.
