Yep, first tourney for me and a lot of other locals...we did not know what to expect, but we gathered the lads..3 from Gisborne, (yay Steve, Gumby and Aaron) also Willy Aull and another from palmy as well as Myself, Rick and Large man(target..Laurence) and Kev. learnt heaps..like dont call tag, get paintchecked then walk, keep your feet tucked in, dont look OVER obstacles etc etc, remember seeing Flashpoint arrive in thier van, and they had a massager as well. STILL HAVE THE SHIRT !!!!!

Hi
I came across your forum as I was doing some work online in regards my father Dave Pellett. I thought it might be of interest for you or others in the paintball teams from "last century" to know the sad news that Dave passed away a fortnight ago, age 71 at his home in the far north, Mangonui, that he moved to once he had retired from Tactics / Splatman. His time running the fields was fondly remembered at his funeral, along with his military career in the RNZAF, and later years as a music teacher to young children in the Far North.
