The Gravity Games H20 2005 event can expect to receive even bigger national and international media coverage and distribution, following the success of the 2004 event.
WOTS has secured the Gravity Games for the next 4 years as our final event in our series.
We will kick it off this year at Gravity Games Perth 2005.
The format for the 4 days will be ;
Thursday - 3 man torny
Friday - completion of 3 man rounds and finals
Saturday - Start 5 man preliminary rounds
Sunday - Complete 5 man prelims and Finals in afternoon
Presentations will be on field after the finals are completed.
At this stage the total prize pool consists of $8000 CASH but should build even higher by the event date with more sponsors coming on board.
We will have a special on supplied paint or you can BYO(no need to send a sample, as long as it is normal paint)
At this stage there will be 2 divisions but it may stretch to 3 depending of the amount of teams entering
There will be a fully secure players tent with security access only and tables and chairs provided for each team.
The field will be 55 x 35 (NPPL 5 man size) and the same field will be used for the 3 man with some barricades removed.
The rule format to be used will be NPPL with a few mods (changes will be given to captains in their captains packs.)
Next year WOTS will run 4 tournaments in this same location again finishing with Gravity Games as the final round.
If this event is successful Octagon(Gravity Games promoters) will include paintball as a Medal event, meaning for us guaranteed tv coverage and the opportunity to gain more international teams with a larger prize pool.
We will also have a stand in the Gravity Village and a public interactive area.
The field will be located in the heart of the Gravity Games action and live bands will be playing all w/end with ticketed bands playing on Friday and Saturday nights
