Team size?

It's an annual question which has just been asked by Rob B over at NZPB Online (http://p069.ezboard.com/bnzpaintball).

Should NZ have a 5 or 7 player team size in tournaments?

I'd like to see 7 man remain. 5 Man is all good, but it means quicker games, shorter tourneys and in the end, less game time.

I'd like to see OS type tourneys with different formats, but NZ is way too small to be running multi format.

7man and Xball (any format) at the same tourney would be the best way to go. If people want to move the series to a 5 man thing, I think it would be better to have an NZ XBall. Perhaps Open X, best of 3 type thing would be best.... I don't know.

Anyway, 5 man is only fun in X-Ball.

I say 7 man.... for national series.
5 man is all good tho it is where we all started but do we really wanna go backward as rosey said shorter games, smaller events etc etc... just because the on field size of teams will shrink doesnot mean the no of teams nationwide will increase.. I say keep 5 man for the kumeu 5's the Wgtn cup and other such fun events.
