Hey was looking at the Hybrid website and noticed that Hybrid was ranked second in New Zealand in 2005 how can that be when they only played in one of the three events? And have they ever beaten Menace , Saints , Evil, Shock, or Swat, as I recall all of these teams have always been better. But I hear they are off to a better start this year (tenth place @Easter), hope to see them play swat at QBD:eek:

Welcome to the boards. Don't forget to put a post up with all your successes in paintball - okay? Sure it will make exciting reading.

There were two events last year in NZ as part of the series - Easter (where Hybrid came 2nd to the Saints and beating Menace) and Queens Birthday (Kumeu - which we didn't attend) ... the third event was cancelled (Rotorua).

The results:

Easter
Saints - 1st - 50 ranking points
Hybrid - 2nd - 46 ranking points
Menace - 3rd - 43 ranking points
HSR - 4th - 40 ranking points

Kumeu
SWAT - 1st - 0 ranking points (overseas team)
Shock - 2nd - 0 ranking points (overseas team)
Saints - 3rd - 43 ranking points
XXX - 4th - 40 ranking points

So add the points up:
Saints - 1st for the season - 93 ranking points
Hybrid - 2nd - 46 ranking points
Menace - 3rd - 43 ranking points
HSR/XXX - 4th equal - 40 ranking points

Thanks. Sorry for not doing too much last year - we were too busy winning another 2 events in Australia and coming second at another ... then there was that 8th at the Masters as well (which kind of sucked) with a throw together team.
