Full X-Ball. It's what Hybrid (http://www.wellingtonhybrid.com) was formed to play back in 2005, and we had (at the time) some of the best players from around the whole damn country.

Full X is hell fun - I'm sure most who have played it would agree (can't think of many who wouldn't). We even had a video (thanks to Stiles & Antsman) from when we played at Fox Studios - you can find that here (http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=10150089814536093).

Question then - who would be interested in a one-off event for a full X-Ball tournament?

Theoretically of course.

Thats 20 mins each way, 2 min pit between points and snake coaching, most points at full time wins?

Yeah, pretty much. Think Race-2, but without a score you're aiming for and two halves of play.

Depends on how quick the points are ... but if you budgeted on 8ish cases per match, and figured you'd play (depending on format/draw/etc) between 4 & 6 matches.

Remember in full-X you'd be splitting that across a greater number of players than you would normally.

No, the pros play raceto 7 - xball basically but no halftime and it's first to 7 points instead of a time limit.

There would have to be unless we did two fields.

I'd guesstimate 5 teams? Dunno - this is all theoretical.

Think Smart Parts world cup in regards to format.
Teams will need 8-10 players im guessing? i believe that standard roster for Xball alowed up to 12.
But alowing that this is for a fun event the pit times could be extended or alow teams 2 time outs a half instead of 1 to get a break (if teams only have 6 or so players to rotate) as 20 mins non stop paintball a half is very tiering.
