I am new to the NZ tournament scene but an old hand at the tournament scene in South Africa. I am going to visit NZ for a while and will be staying in the Aukland area.

I would be very happy if you guys can help me out with some info on New Zealand Paintball as I don't see myself as a couch potato and would like to perpetuate my career as a Paintballer.

I am looking to join a good team that take their ball serious. What good teams are in the Aukland area.

I also need a place to off load some of my NZ dollars. Where's a good place to get hold of a new marker - DM6.

How does it work in NZ. Do I need a License like in Oz? if so, what is the process?

Are there any good Airball fields in Aukland?

come out to the indoor field in papakura this weekend for a 7 man tournament.

Andre from Rage SA lives out here now, you might know him.

If you are 18 or over then no licence required for a semi-automatic paintball airgun
If you are 16-17 then you need a class A firearms licence
Under 16 - no can own.

I am 35. So just to confirm! Can I bring my marker to NZ no paper work required?

Yes.... though of course you will have to pay a few of us some "licencing and administration fees" (just kidding, you will have no problems assuming the marker is legal, i.e. semi auto)
