Thank god this sites exists.
At least its not over moderated by baboons.
How honestly can a mod on PBNZ moderate a forum when his days of playing ended years ago in NZ way before electros and he only reads how the threads are going and form his opinion. he doesnt know how the games played anymore and yet is the judge and jury in the forums.
Then you have other mods on said site who have personal vendettas as such and so just close threads down..then realise they fucked up but cant resind it. Cos it egg on thier face
The mods can name ppl but of course you cant reply as thats thier creed of self rightousness..
If I name said ppl thats wrong..if I dont Im a fence sitter..mmmm

I think I might start a raffle on when B2's going to get banned for arguing with "those who must be obeyed".

For some reason it reminds me of the current gummit... any criticism of problems is unpatriotic, except when it comes from them... staffed by those out of touch with reality.. hiding in ivory towers.

Well "B2" as per usual you say one thing to people by email and then contradict yourself by running off to post exactly what you claimed you wouldn't on another site. Nice work "mate".
Isn't the real reason you're pissed off is that you had a go at moderating (which in that case was done by one of the mods as personal attacks are not allowed, even worse when the people involved can't post to defend themselves) May I remind you that in the same thread you criticised the mods for closing it then said it should have been left open. Double standards - I think so.


For those interested following is my response to an email from B2. If you guys have an issue with me there let me know and I'll happily leave you all to it.........


Mate I don't make any pretences about being "in touch with nz paintball" I was asked to moderate the site as I am removed and independant from teams & politics. Any action I take is based on the sites conditions - not my knowledge of whats going on.
I'm not putting any comments onto the site other than general comments or comments linked to moderation points.

Your attacks on the site aren't helping anyone other than stirring up the trolls when you could offer a lot more constructive comments as people listen to you.

In that thread you directly contradict yourself about how it should have been handled in the same post, yet if a moderator did that you'd be calling for an inquiry and asking "who moderates the moderators." and stirring. Hardly fair is it mate that it's ok for you ?

As for moderation in general there have been a number of changes with board ownership and new mods so bear with us as new guidelines are clarified as things slowly change.

If you want to discuss any issues with me, whether you think I should still bother putting my time into the board or moderating in general feel free to mail me.

You said that B2 was contradicting himself by his email then you post your email therefore not proving anything. You also state that he criticised the mods for closing one thread then said it shouldve been left open. You may have missed the laughing face at the end of the line but that was put there for people like you who come in and throw in their 2 cents when they shouldn't be allowed on the site at all as they have no clue to what is happening in today's paintball world as they are stuck in the stone age and have failed to keep up with the times :D
Maybe a little knowledge of what's going on wouldn't hurt :p

dear alex,

I suggest you (& B2) at least get your facts right about when I last played a tourney (admittedly 2 years or so ago I guess :shrug: ), when I last played a game full stop (last week) and that I do keep up to date by visiting major tourneys held around my area to spectate and watch teams regularly.

I'd hate to think guys like Wayne Smith were out of touch as they haven't played rugby for years. ;)
