Wellington Hybrid Labour Weekend Tournament

With the recent announcement that Rotorua 2k5 has been cancelled, we are pleased to offer another option .

Wellington Hybrid will be running a 7 player event on Labour weekend.

Details are as follows.

7 player format.

One field.

Entry will be around $250 per team.

NPPL rules.

BYO paint , and paint will be available for sale on site.

Legal bottles only.

Reffing by Hybrid.

Air at cost, meaning total air cost will be paid for by teams entering and is currently under discussion with suitable air type people .

Venue is flat Soccer playing field close to town and motorway,(this is an awesome place to play ball, even overlooks the city)

Possibility of marquee to stage from.

Require 6 teams minimum to make this happen.

Full details will be available within the week

Need firm expressions of interest from teams.

Please bear in mind that we will be running this event for the players, we know it cannot be compared to other events of the past, but we see a gap and are stepping up to try to help fill the space.

its on the sunday of labor weekend only, be a nice cosy day

axl hybrid guys reffign and whoever else wants to help out,

this is a team/us thing, we are not doing it to make money, just provide a place to shoot ppl... we will sort some paint to be for sale, and u can bring your own as well

btw we are not allowed the key for the gate, so have to park same place again, and with the number of cars likely, would be real good if we as a team can car pool to the max, to save parking space

I understand that TAG were lookign at bringing the compressor, but don't quote me. Ants can probably confirm one way or another.

Graham had said Tag would bring their compressor setup in exchange for free entry, and we give them a bit of cash for petrol, hinged on relationships being sorted, i dont know how this is going, so, worst case scenario, we scuba tank it, everyone chips in to cover

yes compressor is sorted, tho we will really have to sort car pooling so as to cut the number of parks used up ,

we have a 5th team coming, new guys that play rec at Grenada, are keen to cum see what we are all about,

9 am talk, 9.30 kickoff,

ill be there at the venue about 7, would be good if ppls could be there to help set field up no later than 7.30

Cool to see this is coming together. Just a note to advise that I won't be in town for the event. Megz has said it will be nice for us to have a non-paintball long weekend, though I may offer ref the thing up here if we don't end up planning anything.

Nelson team Black ops has pulled out, due to drama with the ferry and stuff, but they said they are dead keen to attend our outdoor trainings.

shame about the nelson team, one of my mates is a fan of theirs and really wanted to see em.

I'll be there to watch anyway.
