If the tank was in test, it could be worth it, but if not then no.

Good old school gat, if I had the coin ild grab it. An LCD would keep up with modern gats no probs.. The issue is the batt.. Mind you I've got too many angels Allready (6)

LOL are you kidding, I thought your budget was $300 now you are considering this out dated Angel marker.......you were offered better markers than this at a better price and you turned them down.....buy something good the first time round or you will regret it.....If I was unforgiven I would feel like I just got slapped in the face with a fish after you tried to get his PMR 10 for less than 300 and now you want to spent $800 on an ancient angel marker this gun is old if it broke you would not know how to fix it....the tank is prob out of test or illegal but don't quote me on it.

Aaaaaaaargh come on new guy listen to what poelpe are telling you

I need to stop or I might say something I will regret

a little research and commonsense goes along way. We are here to help, but we cant spoon feed every single answer that people are after, where a quick search will give you the answer. Head along to the club days, look over pbnation and tech pb, search youtube and then when you've narrowed it down to something your seriously considering then hit us up.

We arent having a go, its just that thread after thread about every marker that happens to pop up on trademe gets tiresome.

Well said NZPaintballer07 and Steve.

Biggest problem with the "Whats the best marker" question is its all a matter of opinion.

If you read the date of when i started the thread it was 5 days ago when there was no g4's or pmr's for sale. I did research the angel a bit and saw review for it http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/549/, the reviews say the gun was good so i asked you guys for a double check. The RRP was 1800 so I would of spent a little more to get a gun at that price.

The rrp was $1800 back in 2002, 10 years ago... So can't really be used as a reflection for it's price today as technology with paintball markers has come quite a way since back then...

Reviled sorry I don't agree re marker technology moving on alot in the last 10 or do years... Spool valves were around back then, popet valves were around back then, electros had been around for quite a while, most markers had eyes. To put it bluntly egos, Timmy's cyborgs etc are all pretty much the same, when you get down to it those and angels are all the same base design concept. The only real difference between a modern gat and a gat of the early 2000's is fancy milling jobs and weight.. They all pretty much wk the same... Designs have been refined but how they work etc hasnot changed alot... The ego is the same concept as a Timmy, the original Timmy was called the millennium and was based on a spyder.. Spool valves the original matrix aka the duck farter was around 10 years ago the design conscept had just refined.. I used a 10 year old gat at training yesterday, it was fast it was reliable very accurate and to be honest was as fast in rof if not faster than the egos and dm10's the other guys were using... Even worse shock horror it was a 2002 nexus eblade autococker... My point is simple, just because something is older, it doesnot mean its crap. Designs have refined but until someone really Inovates I disagree that technology has really changed that much. The marker on trademe isnot a pos and really would be a reliable gat, as for parts, they are available still... It's a fair price as I've said above considering all the gear etc that's with it.

Again its just my opinion but I still feel that the technology has progressed - while it is the same technology it has been refined. Remember an internal combustion engine has been around for yonks, yet that has been refined and improved dramatically, even tho the idea is still the same.

I have a DM9 in my collection and whilst it is an absolutely awesome marker, and shoots ropes - I can tell the difference considerably between the DM9 and my NT, and in fact, my mid range MacDev Drone shoots far smoother, more efficiently and just all round nicer than my DM9

edit - just re-read your post re innovation - I think we are trying to say similar things in different ways lol
