I have recently gotten a HPA tank with a ninja reg. On the top of the reg are two red O-Rings and I was wondering whether you are supposed to lube it or not. From my experience oil is never supposed to be put around the fill nipple are or the tank will explode. So do i lube the o-rings or not?

NOPE! Never oil anything on the tank or reg. Oil/lube only goes on Internal Gun Parts that move.

As above, don't lube the tank orings, if they give you grief in anyway just replace them..

You shouldnt need to oil the thread.
What type of marker (or ASA) is it on?
Any oil on the thread or o ring wont cause explosion, tank output should be 850psi max.

Oil can only ever go on the output of the reg, but due to them being a common size and fairly hardy just put a new one on. Most leaks that will be caused by the reg oring arnt commonly fixed by lube. As for the threads in the asa, sometimes a little lube can help get the tank on easier, but i find it a tracks dirt and grit. Just make sure you dont put ANY lube/grease near the fill nipple on the reg or on a hpa/scuba filler thing (totally having a blank)

- you don't need to oil anything on your tank.
- as people said don't put oil anywher enear the nipple (ie where air goes IN the tank).
- a drop of oil in the ASA adaptor of the gun (where the tank screws in) is ok, as this is the easiest way to lube a blowback mech semi) as Air systems are a one way valve (unlike CO2)

If you have a leak its due to either a
- stuffed oring (10c fix)
- stuffed asa adaptor $$$
- stuffed screw in part of reg
