Well round one of the NXL prelims has been completed with the following results :)

Philly (14) beat Ultimate (7)
Dynasty (10) beat Chicago (6)
Ironmen (8) beat NY (7)
Oakland (9) beat Trauma (8)
XSV (8) beat LTZ (7)
Legacy (6) beat Raiders (5)

So it's a 16 point field (not bad) and a lot of the games are only being won by a single point. Be interesting to see the results from the next two rounds of the prelims :)

Dynasty v Russians in the final ... so Twitch and Firefox are all that's left in the comp!

And more interestingly X-Factor (a Div 1 team that bumped up to Pro to the midst of much discussion around the traps and mirth and finger pointing with laughing) ... made the cut by beating Strange and Naughty Dogs in the prelims

The Russians took down Dynasty in the finals 10 to 5. The teams battled back and forth, with neither team taking a substantial lead, with the Russians started to pull away, scoring 3 quick points in a row. Dynasty was never able to come back. And the Russians continued to win as the Men in Blue charged down the field attempting to put a point on the board. This is the first time Dynasty has made the finals in the NXL this season, and the 2nd time the Russians have taken first.
