BBT is a go with a reduced entry fee now ... $450 per team (FPO still at $85 - $90 a case).

With what this event is going to provide (potentially) for the sport I hope that everyone gets behind it! I know that we (Hybrid) will be.

I'll post more when I get some time :)

http://www.bigboystoys.co.nz has this to say as the final sentence on it's main page blurb after talking about all the cars and shizm:

"And if you have ever wondered what high speed, full competition war would look like, then you should definitely put a ring around the show dates of Friday 10th - Sunday 12th of November on your calendar."

:o

and of course the official website for the paintball side of things is http://bbt-ipt.co.nz/
Only international team confirmed so far is some bunch called Trose Krew. Their website seems to be defunct...

Ahhh nothing better than morons in marketing who don't know what paintball is.

should we correct them?

Even "gunfighting" would be better than "war". I figure they don't want to say paintball because most people will think that sounds a bit tame.

How about "And if you've ever wondered what paintball would be like as a full on, competitive sport, come along to see some of New Zealand and Australias top teams duke it out professional style"

or something.

it's alright really, shows basically what happened.

Next time hopefully a few more people will bring cameras - and then share footage so someone can edit it all into something decent later on.

Egos always work better when they're on the internet. Something about the size of the bolt head.
