Probably pointless and worthless, but anybody got a tank they want to sell?. Must be NZ legal, lab no. 2-3 years hydro. e.t.c

people i have bought legal tanks off in last few years are amrtin D and Matt Storey from Auckland, theyd be ur best bet if you cant find 2nd hand one,
It may just be easier getting one off tony w. Pay a bit extra for a new one and you don't have to track it down, since we need them before easter.

Theres also Acepaintball.co.nz, they have a Luxfer tank (legal) and a MaxFlow Micro (pretty good ratings on pbreview) for around the 470 mark I think.
But then you have to fit the reg yourself and stuff. Wheres you can get it fully assembled for $50 less on kiwipaintball.co.nz but whatever works i guess
Umm, screw the bottle into the reg, get your bit of macro and plug it in. There aint much to it.
The bonus of the maxflow micro is that its got its own rail and on/off (you would probably pay like 85+ for a decent rail and asa) And its more than likely got better recharge etc than the ignition.

I'll email Kyn and check, but the ACE Paintball site says that it's prices are EXCLUSIVE of GST ... so you may need to add 12.5%
Guessing it's a typo, but will see what the story is.
If it is gst EXCLUSIVE then you might be better buying the ignition and and max flow separate. Plus the ignition looks way way better than the luxfer
the kiwi paintball tank (ignition) includes a preset regulator.
It will also be a Luxfer tank, but with a different sticker on it, as this is one of the legal tanks in NZ

Turns out acepaintball give you their price, then the recommended retail price, right under it (so you automatically look at that one) and nothing to point out the actual one. Unless im just a retard maybe someone should point out how stupidly confusing this is... Anywho the luxfer and max flow cost $418 total ($266.50 and $151.50). Then my problem is I can't be bothered fitting it, then sorting my gun for a macro line rardy rardy rar. But anyway for everyone else, thats how their prices are displayed :confused::confused::confused:. Still no idea as to the gst inclusive/exclusive thing.
Its about 470 INCLUDING GST (I'm well aware of their non inclusion of GST in their price) for the luxfer tank and maxflow from acepaintball.
Oh right. Sweet as. Seen as it turns out the rail won't mount on my frame, I'll definately be going for the ignition. Hehe sorry for hijacking your thread shane :D

odd, The website of the maker lists shows no brand on the tank (though they recalled a large number of GCI tanks back in 05). I would assume Tony W. would know about the tanks as he is one of the driving forces behind the registring of new tanks.

My comment about a new sticker on it was meaning a branded tank rather than a bare tank (like dive tanks) but fundamentally they are identical (both Luxfer P11F-5). A branded tank would look like this:

Yes most tanks are actually luxfer as they make a lot of tanks, then other lazy companys buy them bulk and sell them rebranded. Like all the Pure Energy tanks are luxfer, and ignition too i suppose and the acepaintball used to be $20 cheaper than the kiwipaintball but that changed. Last time i ordered from tony w. it incl. shipping. I take it no-one has and HPA tank 4 sale!

I see what you mean. Turns out the ignition is the SCI tank, not luxfer. Same difference though. Might take you up on that dannefaerd, just need to see if I can get the money together. Unless shane wants it of course, he did ask first
