"Again I looked throughout the earth and saw that the
swiftest person does not always win the race, nor the
strongest man the battle, and that wise men are
often poor, and skillfull men are not necessarily famous
but it is all by chance, by happening to be in the right place at the right time.".........
King Solomon declared "this" , and he was the wisest man that ever lived . ( he saw into the future and must have got a vision about ""paintball""...)
"" ""... the best game in the world!:)
Yeah he was pretty wise... kinda like I must be with all these gray hairs I'm getting. Can't say I'm feeling the wisdom just yet, but I'm expecting it any day now :D
Thought you were going to start a big old debate about whether Christians should play paintball or somesuch hehe - in which case I would have plenty to say :)

its pretty stupid that religion stops people from doing some things its so pointless if you like doing something just do it...
Let's not start that here.
Rubberducky:
a word of advice.
One important characteristic of informed debate is knowing when to shut up.
The recent rise is vocal atheism from Harris, Dawkins, Hitchins et al. has encouraged the rise of the atheist equivulent of the ignorant fundies*, those that think they have enough 'knowledge' to rant on about it but not enough understanding on how to debate properly, or respectfully.
People lacking these skills are reduced to mearly flinging abuse at the other side, and this poisions the well for all those with the skills to debate it.
If you are an atheist, and actually understand why you are, refine your debating skills and knowledge of where the religious come from and gain inspiration. Then you may actually be taken seriously and not mearly illistrate the Creationist arguement of 'why are there still monkeys?**'.
Steven
*My Magic Man wrote this book (holds up the Bible/Koran/Dianetics) so you are all wrong, stupid, bringing all evil into the world and going to hell. Replace Magic Man with the latest atheist author and this book with the latest from them.
** answer: because someone needs to throw shit about

Well said steven. Personally i am an "atheist" and find darwin unbearable the absolute one sidedness. There is now and always will be a place for religion although i personally struggle with some religious aspects, humanity always needs something better to believe in.
My 2/cents. Steven you gonna be at fives 2moz?
This stuff really belongs in the OT section if you are going to get all theological on us
