The season commences this weekend in LA ... so who is going to win the 1st round of the NXL?
I'd love to see Legacy do well, but I'd put money on the Russians.
That said I'll take a whacko punt and vote Naughty Dogs :)
I'm with Vigil I'm backing the Russians as well :D

You have to wonder.
After reflection with the roster on Legacy they do look rather strong. I am surprised to see that Bob isn't on the roster as staff for this event though. You'd think he'd be there as a coach ... hell Ron Nelson is there as staff!
Bob doesn't usually go in the pits, he coaches from the spectator side.

Just wonder what would happen is a ref/official got anal and tried to stop him getting into the pits/players area :)
Marty you should start at kitty going 5 bucks in and split the winnings between those that picked the right team.

I vote for Dynasty cuz American all stars and Dynasty are the only teams i've watched play on TV lol. And Dynasty had better moves and caned the AAA so yeah i presume the first round is over now?

Nah im sure Dynasty caned maybe i just thought that cuz i didn't like americans being all stars. I shouldn't be racist but electing bush??? for a second term?? keeps you wondering old newz tho
I'm not a fan of Dynasty. They are pretty much the first team most people hear about, But its like pop music. Tons of people like it, doesnt mean its the best :P

2nd- Russian legion
3rd- Dynasty
4th- XSV
(Ironmen over Legion 7 - 6 in an overtime match - not sure on the 3/4 play off score.)
Ollie is starting to work his magic.
Those are some serious scorelines in the semis, Dynasty and XSV losing 10 - 2? Yikes!

However badly Dynasty do, I will always love Angel Fragoza...
Woot for Russian Legion. They're sitting where they shoulda been in the last one. Any news if ESPNs gonna show this series at some point?

Don't believe so ... on the ESPN front.
If you want to watch some of the games head over to Paintball Star (www.paintballstar.com). They have 4 games up at the moment including the finals one between Ironmen and Legion.
Legion pulled something like 12minutes of penalties in that game (2 x 5min and 1 x 2min) which in an NXL finals match is a death-knell.
