what about " firearm license"?

how's going~!
i was playing paintball in korea.we are korea semi proteam.
so we were playing speedball. you know~haha
but i cant play not any more in korea.
becoz i living in auckland ct.
so i wanna play paintball in here and i wanna buy paintball marker.
so you guys know where do i have to get that paintball marker?
and if i wanna get marker do i have to got "firearm license"?
and i'd like buy it from australia. can i get that in auckland?

please tell me...please....i wanna play paintball...T.T

Welcome to New Zealand.
Glad to tell you, you do not need a firearms licence to have a paintball marker in new Zealand.

you just have to be over 16.
Talk to the guys at your local field about buying stuff from Aussie.

More exactly you have to be over 18 and you don't need a licence.

16 to 17 years of age you need an "A" class Firearms licence.

Under 16 and you can't own one.

I'd check with the other board which can be found here (http://p069.ezboard.com/bnzpaintball) as most of the Akld guys post there.

You will also want ot check the Board in your gun.

NZ law only allows only semi-only boards to be imported (as well as mechanical guns).

whereabouts in Korea did you play? Did you know a guy named Sam Kim? he runs a company that makes airsystems and other paintball gear out of korea. I met him in Malaysia a while ago.
