DATE. Sunday August 12. 9 am kickoff

VENUE. Grenada North Soccer fields top most field.

FORMAT. Hopper +1.

ENTRY. $100 per team,$20 p/person

PAINT. BYO, i am sourcing some samples then prolly ordering some for my team, contact me asap if teams require any paint.

AIR. BYO

Teams should be at the venue to help set the field up at 8 am.Will get gate key so we can drive up to the field, but will have to be one car per team where possible, rest of vehicles left at main gate as there is minimal parking at top field.

All going to plan first game at 9 am.

Will be watching the weather forcast on the Friday evening in order to cancel if need be.Will call team captains if it is canned.

yeah 1 box each should do it, , although ppls fingers amy go crazy as its "OUTDOOR" , will have paint price next week, am getting 3 boxes in to see what its like, Elixer,Wpn,Killa bees, ,will post as soon as with what the qual is like, if its bad, will keep lookin around.

Ants, unsure as to brian and co. as to their paint status. However me and tim would like a box each please.

i have paint samples here, have shot them all, as expected it is way better than the indoor stuff, even shoots fairly straight.

i have elixer toxic killa bees and a new blue field paint which seems brittle as.

so will be going with Elixer and maybe a bit of toxic.

if captains want they can come get a bag to shoot to see fo themselves ASAP , willl be ordering on Monday.

Paint will be $85 per box , and might be a good idea for captains to come pay/collect their 5 boxes on Fri or Sat at lates, so can be babied overnight, instead of being kept at 5 degrees in my garage. :)


Gate key has been sorted but one of the conditions is we have to ferry everyone/gear up to the field and park vehicles out in the carpark, which shouldnt be much hassle, at least will be able to drop gear right at the field.

I would like to shoot some, I couldn't shoot any of the paint at Easter. I think it's just because of my guns but I'd like to make sure it is actually working now.

When/where will we be able to try it out?

just reminder setup time is 8 am, first game at 9 am,

all cars except one per team to be left out by main gate.

paint is at my house now, so can be paid and picked up before Sun if you want. cost is $85

will call captains Friday night after watching weather , if travelling teams decide not to travel because of weather , it may still turn out ok on Sat nights weather forecast, so we may go ahead with it if teams are keen, just want to avoid needless travel for the travellers if it looks like shid .

Thanks Ants, had a blast. Never actually got round to using any of the paint we bought hehe but it's good to have. Seems to shoot pretty good. I was shooting Premium from Easter last year and it was still good!

Managed to prove how badly we as a team need practice, most of the time it was just stupid mistakes killing us. Besides that one game where I chopped and forgot my squeegee... lol Assassins you guys lucked out on that one :p

paint i thort was great, but not when u shoot a detent out ur barrel :(

we just all need to be aware for next time of non firing areas, as there are houses not far away, and the fiedl IS council property, not mine.
no firing paint anywhere except on field.will better sort a chrono area next time.

fair enough. I thought it went fairly well all things considered besides one or two outbursts. One against Hamish, I think "Jules" was trying to be funny? Not everyone thought the mud was better than the sawdust too, but I definitely prefered it. Hopefully next time it wont be so wet.

There were a bunch of spectators there for a while without masks or anything - they were a decent distance away but still close enough to get shot. Signs maybe?

Next time I'll bring a whiteboard marker for the scoresheet lol

You think you had problems. Found out why Christian & I were breaking so much paint... I checked the diameter of the barrel of the Minis' .688! at least 1 in 10 balls is larger (and we had some leftover from Easter which was all larger). The Ego at .691 had no problem with either. But I guess you learn these things with experience!
