View Full Version : PM5 Lucky board prob
Here's an interesting thing. My gun has a lucky UN1 board and spitfire chip. I went to clean it and make sure everything is good for the fives on the 12th. Hasn't been used for about 2 weeks and when i turned it on, it went straight to the solid purple LED. Usually it'll turn straight on, the eye beam will turn on and the LED will be red. It still runs through the normal program modes (dwell, ROF etc) as per normal. The dip switches hadn't been touched at all either until after this problem appeared. Any ideas?
Flat battery by any chance? Heres Luckys European website http://www.luckyeurope.co.uk/ - the forums are long gone along with the whole company really.

Are you sure you're not turning it on in programming mode? Because fire mode, the first programming option is a purple LED.
It's not the battery, that would be flashing red.
No it's not turning on in programing mode. I'd used my marker for some practice, then put it away. Pulled it out yesterday and it was doing it. After turning it on and off a few times it worked a bit and the eyes came on. Then i turned it off again and did he same purple LED. The d/switch 4 (programming) hasn't been touched at all. Aww man. Think i have to buy a new one dammit.

Email lucky and tell them your board is fucked and make them replace or fix it. I'll try and track you down a stock PM/DM chip in the mean time.
